April 2015 – October 2018 — A TNR colony that started out with 30+ cats just 2 weeks after the elderly owner died. The barn has since fallen down, and the cats feed in a leaky hog house. When I visit I always think of farming pioneers and a century of animals living and dying.
A volunteer team including 4 devoted individuals has fed this group since the day they were brought to our attention. Many original cats are gone but a hand full remain with a few new faces that we help as we catch them. There is at least one new face now, a big majestic gray guy.
