Ahhh… Patio Season! When it’s finally nice enough to dine or drink al fresco. We did some homework so you don’t have to! Here are some of the best dog friendly patios around. Let me know if you know of a hidden gem I missed!
Keep an eye on your dog and watch for clues that they are stressed. If patios are new to you and your pet, plan your first visit to be shorter. Work on sit, place, and stay while home! Then, bring your training to the patio. Here are a few links to articles with great tips for prepping your pup!
Rochester Dog-friendly Patios
SMOAK BBQ Their patio is 100% dog friendly. They even offer a full dog menu for your pup to eat while you dine yourself. They have a pet station with water bowls and homemade treats. Keep an eye out for exciting events happening there with Camp Companion coming up in the month of July!
Five West Their patio is dog friendly, along with their patio bar. The patio bar is always shaded and the bartenders are dog lovers! They love their furry guests, and have a pup station with water, water bowls, and treats fro Rochester Pet and Country store.
The Tap House West End They LOVE dogs! They have a dog station with water, bowls, and treats for your pup.
Forager Brewery Their patio is dog friendly. They just ask that your pet remain on a leash. They have a cute water station where local artist Amy Dybing painted a dog on the side of the building near the patio.
Hot Chip Burger Bar has a dog friendly patio. They have water bowls and dog snacks.
LTS Brewing Company They have both an outdoor patio and a heated tent that is pet-friendly for those inclement weather days. They have “dog hitching stations” where you can hook your pets leash while you enjoy a pint. (they also have pup pints for your furry friend!) Wednesdays are for Pup Meetups from 4-10! Well behaved dogs welcome! Besides brews, they have pizza and in-house made craft sodas.
